Notice Period: A one-month notice is required for withdrawal from the program.
A vacancy occurs when a child leaves or is asked to leave the centre. Families are required to notify the Site or Assistant Supervisor at least four weeks before the final date of a child’s attendance at the centre. Once notification of a vacancy is received, the Site or Assistant Supervisor contacts the next family on the waiting list according to the procedures under “Priority of Admission.” This family is then required to indicate acceptance of a space or remain on the waiting list.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our families.
We welcome feedback and are committed to addressing any concerns promptly.
Policies may be updated periodically. Parents will be notified of any significant changes.
Joining Our Little Dragon Family-
Becoming a part of the Little Dragon community is an exciting journey for you and your child. Here’s how our enrollment process works:
Your first step is to see our world through your child’s eyes. We warmly invite you to visit Little Dragon Early Learning Center for a comprehensive tour. This is an opportunity for you to see our classrooms, play areas, and other facilities. You'll meet our caring staff, observe our daily routines, and experience the nurturing atmosphere we’ve created. Feel free to ask questions and discuss any specific needs or concerns you might have.
If you feel that Little Dragon is the right place for your child, the next step is to fill out our enrollment application. This form will gather important information about your child and your family, helping us to understand your child’s needs and how we can best meet them. Our administrative team is available to guide you through this process and provide any assistance you may need.
Once your application is accepted, we'll schedule an orientation session for you and your child. This is a crucial step in helping your little one adjust to the new environment. During this session, your child can interact with their future teachers and peers, and start getting comfortable in the new setting. We’ll also discuss important details like our daily schedule, health and safety policies, and communication protocols.
At our Center we recognizes that each child is competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. We believe every child’s individuality and ability is to be respected and encouraged. This individuality is fostered through our commitment to creating a community in a nurturing, high quality inclusive environment which respects the child’s culture, gender, religion, social economic background and physical, cognitive and emotional ability.
